Our adventure up Mount Elmore from a recent Vacation Discovery Day
We have been enjoying the beautiful fall weather and will continue to spend much of our afternoons outside. As the sun sets earlier and the temperature begins to drop please begin sending your children with appropriate winter gear. Insulated boots, jacket, snow pants, hat and gloves are essential to have fun outdoors. If you have outgrown children’s winter clothing please consider donating it to Apple Tree. I will work to supply gear to families that could use support, please reach out with what your child needs and the sizes you are looking for.

Thanksgiving Potluck 11/26, 3:30-5pm. Visit afterschool for games and some food! A side dish or dessert would be greatly appreciated, we hope to see many families there!
Please note that we are closed for the holiday on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 11/27-29
We have a few favorite choices that are offered each day afterschool. This includes building forts in the woods, playing with “mud kitchen” supplies and SEVERAL soccer matches. Students also have opportunities to build and create with items like legos, circuit boards, clay and lots of beads! In addition to these popular activities, the following activities are available weekly:
Monday: Make your own Movie, Tuesday: Biking (until snow flies!), Wednesday: Scooters / Skating, Thursday: Cooking Crew, Friday: Mini Treehouse Project
If you are interested in sharing a hobby or visiting afterschool for assisting with a project please reach out anytime.
Happy Fall!Kendra
