| Happy New Year! We hope you and your family had a wonderful holiday and got to experience lots of warmth and joy over break. Thank you to everyone who joined us for our winter solstice celebration on 12/20, that was some crazy cookie fun. The kids love to have fun outdoors and on the sledding hill. Please continue sending your children with appropriate winter gear and a water bottle. Insulated boots, jacket, snow pants, hats and mittens are essential. Keeping warm is all about layers that can come off and on. I recomend a neck warmer for an extra defense agains the wind. And a pair of indoor shoes keep kids safe from sock sliding inside. Friday Program is off to a great start! Her strong positive relationships with all of our Kindergarteners got us off to a great start, and her kind, calm, perceptive approach with all the children has made this year a delight. We will miss her dealy but we wish her all the best. The good news is that some of your children will still see her working at SES during the school day. Registration for Summer Camp and Afterschool 2025-26 will be made available to our current families first, and other families soon after. Our goal is to have Summer Camp Registration open to you by February 17 and then open to others on March 3rd. Afterschool 2025 should open for you on March 31st then to others on April 14. The transition from Procare to the Brightwheel app for attendance, messaging and billing seems to have gone smoothlty.
